FAQ: Why do you charge for the Pleasure Seat Core and Feet?
I thought long and hard about publishing all the files for free. However, I hope you understand that this project represents a significant investment of time and resources on my part. I spent well over 300 hours working on it (which I genuinely enjoyed), and I also used a considerable amount of filament for test prints, all of which comes at a real cost. For that reason, I feel it’s fair to ask for a small contribution in return, at least to recover part of that investment. At the same time, I strongly believe in community collaboration and want to encourage further development of the docks. That’s why I’ve decided to charge only for the Core and Feet, while the Docks and Backrests I designed are available for free download and remixing.
FAQ: Can I get the Pleasure Seat Core/Feet files for free (or a lower price)?
If you feel that my asking price is too high or times are tough for you, please feel free to make me an offer on Cults. A short note explaining your situation is appreciated (but not mandatory), and we’ll work something out.
